Asphalt Shingles:  An asphalt shingle is a roof shingle that uses asphalt for waterproofing. This is the most common shingle used for replacement roofing. There are different types of shingles: 3 Tab and Architectural. There are many color choices for Asphalt shingles, so you will most likely find the best matching option for your home. Colors include pale gray, medium gray, and dark gray to beige, reddish, and medium brown to dark brown.

Metal Roofing:  Metal roofing is becoming more popular with our roofing company customers due to its long-lasting materials, energy efficiency, and low maintenance. Material choices include steel (galvanized, galvalume, or weathering), aluminum, copper, zinc, and tin. Product types are vertical seam, pre-formed panels, and granular coated panels.

REPLACEMENT ROOFING

DO YOU NEED REPLACEMENT ROOFING OR A ROOF REPAIR?

Our roofing company knows how important it is to get your home repaired so your family can get back to normal. That’s why during our initial inspection, we provide a detailed report showing the issues we located and a reasonable solution for fixing the problem, whether it be a complete replacement roofing service or just a roof repair.

But how do you know if your home will need a total roof replacement or just a roof repair?

Replacement Roofing: While we always recommend calling Georgia Select Roofing to come to do a thorough inspection, some signs can include roof age, water damage upstairs or in the attic, curling or buckling shingles, missing shingles, mold or fungi takeover, missing flashing, or fascia.

Roof Repair: You might need just a roof repair if you have damage in one specific area, but the rest of your roof is still in good condition. If you have a newer roof, that is also a sign that you need a repair. Regardless, we recommend scheduling a free roof inspection to assess the damage and let you know what the best option will be for you and your family.

REPLACEMENT ROOFING FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How do insurance claims work?

  • Do you accept credit cards?
You can pay with a credit card, and a 3.5% service fee will be added. You can also pay with cash or check for no additional charge.
  • What is the average build time?
One to two days, typically. Some situations can create a longer turnaround, such as the roof is incredibly steep or large. Usually, anything under 3,000 square feet will be completed in one day.
  • Will the insurance company cover storm damage if the roof is old?
That’s an excellent question that depends on several variables. Such as who’s your insurance provider, because different insurance companies have several other policies. This could determine whether you file a claim or not. Have you ever filed a claim on your roof before? * If you have, it’s okay, but before filing a new claim, we need to go over things to determine what’s best for you as the homeowner. There’s a lot more, but the best option is to Georgia Select Roofing, and allows us to give you a home inspection. There are no bad intentions, and where we only provide you with honest options. • How often should my roof be inspected?
Some customers have their roof inspected once a year to stay ahead of the game. But our roofing company recommends having your roof inspected at least every 2-3 years.
